ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for assigned projects and work packages to ensure that they meet or exceed clients’ expectations.
- Ensure the team assigned to the project is keeping to the agreed man-days and booking their time spent on the project accurately.
- Ensure all communications with clients are clear, concise, and accurate.
- Support the Project Associate in discussions and negotiations with the clients and BDMs in agreeing on project fees and identifying project VOs.
- Keep your project Associate fully informed of all relevant project matters to ensure the smooth and successful delivery of the project to the client’s satisfaction.
- Ensure that Weekly Project Reports and tracked Project Programmes are prepared, maintained, and distributed on a weekly basis.
- Responsible for making sure your project team is following the Brigen Consulting TAP procedures and completing timesheets on time.
- Manage projects in an efficient and time-conscious manner. Oversee BIM modeling, the production of drawings, schedules, and specification notes.
- Undertake regular checks of both CAD and hard copy drawings, procedures, and project structure of your project team’s work.
- Troubleshoot, and resolve problem areas, as and when they occur.
- Support your teams with guidance, mentoring, and training.
- Responsible for managing the resourcing of your projects and the interface with Clients.
- Identify and report to your project Associate on any training needs that need to be satisfied to complete a project.
- Feedback on any issues that affect the delivery of the project in a timely manner.
- Assist in the profitable delivery of each project by adhering to the project plan and budgets.
- Accurately report to your Project Associate any discrepancies, additional work, anomalies, and errors on individual projects so that contractual or billing adjustments can be made.
- Assist your Project Associate with pricing and reviewing new projects and producing man-day estimates, programs, and storyboarding, as required. As well as assisting in producing MDEs/DLSs, when required for fee proposals.
- Assist your Project Associate in deciding amounts to be invoiced to clients against the agreed contracts and delivery milestones.
- Identify the training and development needs of your team to enhance their careers within Brigen Consulting.
- Feedback on any issues that may arise affecting the viability or profitability of the project.
- Proactive attendance to your own personal development plan in line with CPD (Continuous Professional Development) expectations.
- Lead by example in the areas of delegation, coaching, decision-making, time management, leadership, and communication.
- Identify and mentor individuals that show potential to be future leaders.
- Assist your Project Associate to ensure the efficient and profitable running of the project.
- Ensure newcomers are adequately trained and mentored to work effectively on projects
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent
- Minimum 4-7 years of experience
- Software requirement: Strong knowledge across Autodesk and Graphisoft CAD and BIM is required, MS Office suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
- Proficiency in using Autodesk Revit
Technical requirement
- Good knowledge of Building Regulations, detailing, and oversea construction methods
- Ability to prepare architectural documentation to international standards
